I have been looking for a small mag card reader and finally came across this one.
It is USB, it has a built in clock to keep track of the time of the swipe. And finally it has 512k of storage, which the manufacturer claims holds 3000 swipes. Pretty awesome. It reads tracks, 1,2, and 3. The pricetag for this little guy is $340 USD. I’d love to get my hands on a model for a review if the company is reading
