It seems like the gas stations are prime targets for scams because people really want free fuel. In the past there have been a few exploits. One I distinctively remember about 5-10 years years back was when people started using other cards instead of credit cards at the pumps. Namely drivers licenses. People would run their licenses through and it would let them pump gas, of course you wouldn’t get charged for it since they didn’t have your CC info.
I don’t remember what happened to all the people that did this, I don’t know if it recorded their names and other info.
